Bali Emerald Villas

Sanur Villa Specialists

Welcome to Sanur.
A popular escape from the crowded, hectic, west coast havens of Kuta, Seminyak and Legian, Sanur provides a far more relaxed environment.
Many consider Sanur “just right”, as it lacks most of the hassles found to the west while maintaining a pleasant seaside atmosphere via a wide range of good quality, well shaded restaurants, cafes, art galleries and bars.

Sanur, Bali’s earliest beach resort, is a seaside town situated in the southeast of the island, approximately 30 minutes from the international airport.
Its long, uninterrupted stretch of beach is what Sanur is best known for. Colorful jukung fishing boats rest on the sand at low tide, a perfect picture post card setting and often synonymous as the image of Sanur in most people’s minds.

An assortment of innovative and modern entertainment venues share the Sanur Beach coastline. The former fishing village maintains most of its original charm and continues to attract repeat visitors year after year.

Sanur Beach maintains its wealth in arts and culture, making it an ideal destination to enjoy the best of both eras, classic and contemporary.

Known for its laidback atmosphere, the beach in Sanur stretches some 5km from north to south. It is a favorite of pedestrians and cyclists to stroll/bike this walk at any time of the day to enjoy the sun, sand and sea breeze. A multitude of shops, restaurants and hotels are located on this beach walk so there is something for everyone.

Early risers should not miss the opportunity to enjoy at least one sunrise stroll. With Mt. Agung, Bali’s tallest mountain in the background, this spectacular sunrise is a magnificent and inspirational way to start your day.

Thinking of heading east to enjoy some more of this beautiful country. Sanur’s North Beach is the launch point for numerous daily excursions to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Make it a day trip or head over to Lombok and Gilli Islands. All your options are wide open.

Jl Danau Tamblingin is the main street of Sanur and here you will find a multitude of shops, bars and restaurants in either direction. You will be pleased to see how far your currency will go in Bali in the local markets.
Recommended sites and events to visit in Sanur include the Bali Kites Festival, The Le Mayeur Museum, The Serangan Shark Island Project, Pura Blanjong, The Turtle Conservation & Education Centre, Griya Santrian Gallery, Bali Orchid Garden, amongst others.

There are so many other places of interest in Bali to visit to even start to mention here. Suffice it to say that if you are only here for one week you will just be getting started. It is highly recommended that before you come to Bali you spend as much time as you can afford online to research where you would like to go, and what you would like to see to make the most of your visit. I can only assure you that once you settle in comfortably and are really enjoying your stay it will be time to go home. That is the beauty of Bali and that is why you will want to come back again and again.

There is lots to do and see in Sanur and is a very safe village to get around and is a very bike friendly community as can easily be seen by the number of cyclists on the streets. Motor scooters can be rented for as little as IDR 50,000 per day. Cars, or MPV’s, including drivers, are also readily available at very reasonable rates.

Metered taxis (Bluebird) and Uber drivers are always close by. Uber provides the best transport value; If you don’t have an account, then sign up. Most tour operators will include pick up and drop off to and from your villa as part of their package for daytrips. Just ask us any specifics and we will answer you ASAP to help you with the planning of your stay.

Aussie sports fanatics… Sanur has got you covered. Too many sports pubs to mention who all seem to claim they have the coldest beer in town. Belly up to the bar and share some icy cold pints with your fellow countrymen and cheer on your favorite teams be it AFL, NRL, soccer or cricket.

So you’ve decided you are coming to Sanur. The next question is where will you stay, Hotel or Villa?

If you are asking yourself this question, chances are you have never stayed in a private luxury villa.
Once you have stayed in a villa, you will not want to compromise again in the future.
Research online and check out all the positive feedback and satisfaction from people who prefer to stay in villas vs. hotel rooms.
Trust me, I know, and I’m speaking from personal experience. See you soon…
